There is no front desk at this property, a virtual front desk provides assistance to guests through our text messaging system. A virtual key will become available on the check in date and will expire at the check out time of the departure date. Prior to arrival, you must complete online registration via a secure link and the virtual key will be provided.
Reservation Policy
Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. We will charge your credit card 48 hours prior to arrival after we have confirmed your reservation. The hotel has the right to cancel without notice your reservation if we do not receive the Pre-Payment Deposit by Credit Card when charged 48 hours prior to arrival. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after canceling your booking. Reservations can only be secured by payment with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. This is a virtual hotel and we do not accept cash. Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. We’ll be ready for you.

Cancellation Policy
48 hours prior to arrival – Noon local hotel time. EST Please carefully read our cancellation policy. If the guest cancels more than 48 hours in advance, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded.
- If the guest cancels less than 48 hours in advance, the full amount will be charged and is non-refundable.
- In case of a no-show, the full amount will be retained and no refund issued.
- NOTE: Any reservations coming through Expedia or other reservation channel must be cancelled through that channel which will communicate the cancellation to the hotel. Failure to cancel through the booking channel will be considered a “no show” and the cancellation penalty will apply. The hotel does not accept direct cancellation from reservations made through an outside booking channel.
- There is only one way in which we can acknowledge cancellation of the guest’s reservation; the guest must cancel the reservation online in the reservation system more than 48 hours prior to arrival – Noon local hotel time. Expedia and other booking channels will provide a cancellation confirmation.
- All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been canceled by the hotel direct; Expedia or other booking channel (Air BNB) will provide their own cancellation confirmation. Please retain your cancellation information.
Smoking Policy
Breathe easy. The Lostro is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $300 room cleaning fee.
Room Policy
We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value. Sing your heart out and have passionate conversations all day long, but from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the whole property goes into hush mode for what we like to call quiet time (or sleep time). This is a virtual hotel, and we do not accept or deliver packages. There is no storage available for luggage or other property.
Kitchen Room Policy
Please practice safe cooking habits and do not leave burners unattended. Please do not cook with strong smelling ingredients. Lingering smells that require room closure and deep cleans will be charged a cleaning fee of up to $300.
Parking Policy
The hotel does not have parking facilities available. You may decide to locate parking as either of the facilities noted below or through the ParkMobile or Park Smarter apps. Parking is available at the Athens City Garage located at 15 E Washington or Baker University Center Garage 13 Oxbow Trail. The hotel is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or other damage at parking facilities.
Minimum Age Policy
All guests must be 21 years or older to confirm guestroom accommodation at The Lostro. Any reservation found to be made and contracted by an underage person will be asked to leave the hotel and charges will not be refunded.
ADA Policy
The Lostro is compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). We offer accessible rooms within the hotel based on availability. Please ensure requests reach us by placing it in the comments section of the online reservation form.
Room Cleaning Policy
Rooms are cleaned at check-out and a cleaning fee applies per stay. Room refreshes will be offered during extended stays for an additional fee and with 24 hour notice. As noted on the reservation a cleaning fee will be charged in addition to the room and tax in the amount of $65. Standard suite $80. Two Bedroom Suite
Firearm Policy
Any guest or visitor who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, state and local laws with respect to firearms. Subject to the following restrictions, guests of The Lostro who are lawfully permitted to possess a firearm may bring such firearm onto hotel premises, provided that the presence of the firearm on hotel premises: is for storage purposes only; the firearm is and remains at all times unloaded; the firearm is and remains secured in a locked, hard-sided firearm container, provided by the guest, while transported to or from the guest room and while stored therein; and the firearm remains securely safeguarded at all times in a locked guest room or locked personal vehicle, except when transporting the firearm to or from a guest room. Guests who fail to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises, without refund. The hotel premises are private property, and our firearms policy applies to (i) all firearms, regardless of whether the firearm is a handgun or a long-barreled gun; and (ii) all guests and visitors, even those possessing a valid license or permit to carry a firearm. The only exception to the restrictions described in this firearms policy statement is for law enforcement officers and designated military personnel, who are on-duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties.
Guest Safety Policy
As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from. Safety cameras are used throughout the premises in the public spaces, and anyone on our property may be recorded. The hotel assumes no responsibility for any personal bodily injury incurred while using facilities, where available. Contact us online through the messaging app located on your reservation confirmation with any questions or concerns. This is a virtual hotel and any calls to the hotel phone cannot be responded to prior to arrival. All phone messages will be responded to within 2 – 4 days and is not available from Friday 3pm – Monday 9am.
Additional Fees
Each room will have a cleaning fee assessed in the amount of $65. Standard Suite, $80 Two Bedroom Suite Each reservation will have a 2.5% credit card fee assessed. Damage waiver release (fee) if applicable as noted in the room policies will be assessed and charged to the credit card on file within 5 working days of check out.
